• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I would like to thank everyone in this community for all the help and advice over the years. My wife and I owned the Syder for 2 riding seasons and put just over 18k miles on it. This community has always helped me with questions and concerns I have had. This is truly a great site for resources. The new owner has been advised it would be in their best interest to join as this is their first Spyder.

The Syder was the wife and I first motorcycle and have decided to give two wheels a go. I know. Kind of a little backwards than normal. We are excited to more great adventures.

Again, Thank You!! And be safe out there.

Kevin

Best of luck to you and your wife on your motorcycle adventures. We will leave the light on for you if you return to three wheels!

Thanks Bob. You were one of those that responded to a few of my posts and I appreciated the advice and assistance.

Will check in as the Spyder was near and dear.
 More reason to find way to do both 2&3 wheels (backup fun). & The muti vehicle discount can apply for 2 motorcycles. just worth considering :bbq:lots of advantages having both.

Okay funny story. I was going to keep the Spyder but a buddy told me to not do both. Choose one because riding styles are different.

First weekend I had the two wheeler I stopped to park and.................I dropped it right on it's side. Reason, I forgot to put down the kickstand. For 18000 miles never had to worry about a kickstand. That is what led to selling the Spyder. :)

I can laugh now.

Opposite End

I'm getting older and am close to getting my first 3 wheeler, so that makes us at opposite ends of the transition. Good luck and have many safe miles on your new ride. I have a very nice 2015 Indian Chieftain that will need a new home someday. I'm soon going to check out a new left-over 2017 Can Am Spyder F3 Limited and that might be my next ride. Have fun.

It was actually down between a F3-T and the Harley. Chose the latter. F3's are sharp.
