• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Better shocks

Anyone know of any other shocks for the spyder besides the elkas and the penske? They are way overpriced. Need something better than the cheap stock ones.

Someone just posted about "Icon" shocks in Australia. And, I've been trying to get Progressive Suspension in the fray... with no luck, to date.

.

I got this response from Progressive Suspension when I sent an e-mail to them about the Spyder. I sent the e-mail mid July nothing yet I am going to send a follow up.:spyder:

The following is a reply I received from Ikon Suspension in response to an enquirery I made.
You have heard correctly. We have only just completed some work with a local rider which has lead to the completion of front and rear shocks that have given a very pleasing result. The shocks have upgraded progressive rate springs and screw thread pre-load adjustment. Both are rebuildable and the front also have a 4 position rebound adjustment. The prices are AUD$800.00 a pair on the front and AUD$950.00 on the rear plus shipping.
Hope that helps
Bob
