better lights

Does anyone have any suggestions for better headlights for a 2012 RTS SE5 LTD than stock? I tried to order form Xenon Depto but got nowhere. Now I'm looking for a more reliable dealer.

I'm not saying you should do this but I swapped my OEM bulb's for 100 watter's ..........didn't change anything but the bulbs ....no relays ....no wiring etc......I know I took a chance .......so far the only thing that has happened is I can see waaaaaaaaaaaaay better at night. I did drop the beam down slightly..........I do have a 2014 RT so my available alternator output is greater. I think I paid $ 16 for the pair ( delivered ) on E-Bay....Mike :thumbup:

I am replacing the stock headlights on my F3 with this:

I ordered them last Sunday night and got the kit on Wednesday. I would double check with the RT guys but I think it fits your bike.

Give Zeon Depot another chance. I got my 2012 RTS with HID headlights. I got my HID fog lights from Zeon Depot and Doc Riverside installed them, they work great and draw less power then the stock lights do. They give allot more light than the stock lights and really make other drivers aware of you!

Does BRP still offer their HIDs, or did they phase them out? :dontknow:

Depends..!

there are a lot of alternatives. I would stick with the ones that least require additional parts to work properly. The hid's and Led's are great but sometime have arguments with the resident nanny. The bright whites higher wattage work well and unless you do a lot of night ryding on unlighted backroads are enough imo. I just added fogs and driving lights for those dark roads...:thumbup:

After the misinformation and erroneous info I got from Xeonon Depot, I don't think I will give them a "second bite at the apple" as it were, but thanks.
