• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We have been there a few times. Beautiful place to go. I even hiked up to the summit once, but next time we go it is the cog railway for us. We have never rode the cog railway, and it is high time we did. When the Canadian dollar gets better, that is. :yikes:

Nice pictures, I spent one summer working in the hotel at the top of Mount Washington what a blast. The view is unbelievable, the wind always blows and the cog railroad is a real treat. Thanks for the memory jog!

Thanks for posting the pics, brings back fond memories.

In '09 my bro & I went up, with me on the back of my '82 Goldwing. I had to double up as they would not let me take my Burgman 400 maxiscooter up due to it not having gears to assist with the braking on the way down.

We also had a beautiful cloudless day & could see forever.

Mt Washington

I've rode to the top of Mt. Washington two time on different bikes, some of the best scenery In the eastern U.S. the second time coming back down we saw a mother bear with two little cubs, she crossed the road about 50 yards ahead of us, got some great pictures..

Al,

thanks for the pictures.

I did not go on the ride that day, because I have been there done that. Deanna
