• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Evening all,

New member here. I am going to be buying my first Sypder tomorrow and am looking for dealer advice.

Could anyone give me feedback on preferred dealers in south Georgia and Jacksonville, FL area.

Probably going to Statesboro tomorrow and hoping they are a favored dealer.

Probably won't sleep much tonight either!

TIA

Dean

:welcome: Yes, you have a long night ahead of you. :roflblack: Others from you area should come on with information. You might also put the dealer names into the search engine and see if they have popped up for either good or bad information.

If you have a choice of dealers, it still might be best to go to all and see what one gives you the best vibes. In my opinion, the dealer that has the best service is the one I prefer to buy from.

I was there today, but I did not buy my bike from them. Long story.:banghead: Send me a PM and I will tell you why. They have done all the maintenance on my machine and I have been very satisfied. The initial oil change was a little pricey ( increased price $100.00 because I did not buy bike from them.) They have three new bikes (Spyders) on the floor and also 3 used bikes. Owner's name is Mike. Good luck with your purchase. It is one FUN machine!!!

Not sure of the layout of cities in Florida, but I just purchased a trailer from Barney's in Brooksville today. I'm in Vegas, so things are still being finalized, but so far, I've been very satisfied. I had asked about the dealerships reputation and I was told they are a preferred dealer for many riders down that way.

Sorry..!!

Wish I could help..now if you pop over here to San Diego I could. Then you can have the first and second service on the way home...:roflblack:

Went to Statesboro Friday afternoon. Ended up buying a left over 2012 RT with all but the GPS. Did couple hundred miles today and love it. No problem making the transition from a two wheeler. Good news is, the wife says I don't have to sell the BMW.

Lots of buttons to learn. Reading the manual tonight.

Only problem is getting down the driveway. I either have to use part of the neighbors yard or move trucks from the driveway to the street every time I leave the house.
