I wondered if we were allowed to "crash" the parties of we weren't staying in one of the host hotels.... sounds good!

I called last night and changed from my more expensive reservation made thru Trip Advisor to the advertised event rate by calling the hotel directly. If you try to make the reservation online it tells you no rooms are available but by calling I was told they had a few left.

For future reference, for any Spyder event always call the host hotel direct and tell them you're with the spyder event. Never use a third party or the hotel reservation line, always call direct for the discounted rate.
