• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BEST warranty.

I got the 4 yr warranty with my new 2013 ST Limited. Should I be getting something in the mail for the 2 years of the BEST portion? I'm only asking so that I can still do something about it before it's too late. TIA :2thumbs:

Others have posted that you get a card from BRP about 2 months after purchase. Your dealer should be able to go online and verify that you have indeed been registered for the warranty.

Yes, I got a letter with a detachable card from BRP about 3 weeks after purchasing my Spyder. I put it in the ziplock bag where I keep registration and proof of insurance in case I need a tow or something

I received my B.E.S.T. Letter about 3 weeks after I purchased the Spyder

I went back to my file to verify. Also, I keep the card (that you tear out on the perforations on the letter) with me on the Spyder. On that card, it states the end date of the warranty. Mine shows the end date year of 2018 -- so it is the 2+2 warranty (just to be safe, I had the dealership send me the submittal letter they sent to BRP for the 2+2 year B.E.S.T. Promo).

If you have not got the letter and it's been a couple of months, you may want to check.

I purchased my Spyder RT Limited on 1-23-14 and the letter is dated 2-12-14.

Good luck!

Is the BEST warranty the same as the mfr warranty???:dontknow:

Here's some info on the B.E.S.T. (BRP Extended Service Terms) Warranty info: http://can-am.brp.com/spyder/owners/best-extended-service.html You can see what's covered and other details here.

I purchased my 2014 RT Limited during a Promo period which has the standard 2 year mfg. warranty and then the extended 2 years warranty through B.E.S.T.
This promo was call the 2+2 year warranty promo.

I wrote down the number for roadside assistance on the back (it's not on the card, go figure), laminated it and carry it in the glove box with my registration.
