• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Best or McGraw extended warranty

My B.E.S.T. warranty runs out at the end on this month. My dealer contacted me to extend the warranty and said that Western/McGraw Powersports is far superior.
Anyone have any comments?
Thanks!

BEST OR ?????

IMHO ... I don't see how anything can be equal to - never mind Better than the factory OEM warranty ( BEST ).......I would take a microscopic look at the very fine print before I would accept the word of any SALESMAN..........REMEMBER the person who is SELLING this is getting a COMMISSION......and is not a bit concerned they will ever even see you again.......just sayin....Mike ...................PS, someone here just bought 3 yrs of BEST for $679.00 from Bert's Mega Mall.............are these guys beating that price ???????

All I know is that B.E.S.T is honored anywhere, other warranties, you will probably have to pay upfront and then fight to get your money back.

Sid, the comments you have received sum it up pretty well. If you have an issue and are travelling you likely will have to pay for service then try to submit a claim to BRP and hope it is covered. And I agree totally with Blueknight that the salesman likely is getting a better commission from the non-BRP warranty and that is why he wants you to purchase it.

Not all dealers charge the same price for the BEST warranty so you can shop around. If you find a better price you could ask your dealer to give you that same price.

B.E.S.T. - COST VS. PRICE

:agree: with Ann also........It's my understanding that the cost of the BEST warranty ( which is sold to the dealer ) is all the same from BRP.......The individual dealers then mark them up ( their profit margin )...........The BEST warranty MUST be honored at EVERY BRP dealer......no matter who it was bought from.........So if you want your dealer to charge you less for the Warranty...... ask Him / Her to match the best price......It's in Their interest to do so because they have to honor the warranty no matter what..............good luck.....Mike
