• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just took out my 2011 CanAm RTS/SE5 Tourer. It is tons of fun. I just purchased it two days ago from East Coast Cycle Center in Bensalem, Pa. I alreadly have a Suzuki 2009 Burgman 650 which I also love riding. I rode both of them tonight. When I come home and put them in the garage with my Toyota Spyder MR2 I realize that I can't get anything else in the garage. LOL. I plug the Battery Tenders into each one and let them go to sleep for the night. I am very happy with all three motor toys. All I have to do now is learn about all the electronics that it has. I did have the same problem that others have reported , about stalling out at a light. It happened to me twice tonight. It also happened the first day I bought it. I spoke to the service manager and he told me yesterday, that if it only happened once, don't worry about it. However, it happend twice today, so I think I will give him a buzz tomorrow. This company does everything it can to help it's customers.

:congrats: You have entered another dimension in riding:clap:. Do not attempt to adjust your attitude, resistance is useless. You are now caught in the :spyder2:web. Hope your stalling is not a problem, I have never experienced anything like that on my RTS SE5.

Ride in comfort,

John

Best 0of the Best is even better !

I just got back from my Spyder dealer (East Coast Cycle Center) in Bensalem, Pa. I mentioned to them about the problem I was having with stalling at a light. They took it out for a test ride and also put it on their computer to make sure that no codes were showing and also checked to see if there were any recalls on the 2011 RTS/SE5. Nothing showed up on either check. I did mention to them that maybe it would stall out if I made a hard stop at the light and that wouldn't give the transmission the necessary time to slow down, and therefore it stalls out. He also suggested that I downshift manually instead of letting the transmission do it all the time. I traveled about 50 miles after the inspection with NO problems at all. I believe it happens on HARD BRAKING. Alan in the service department was very helpful and courteous. Also, Aaron , who was my sales associate was also helpful with the problem. Definitely, East Coast Cycle Center is the place to go to buy , sell or service a CanAm. Keep up the work Walt (owner). You have a great staff. I also met another spyder lover at the dealer. His name is Richic, and is from Pennsauken, New Jersey.
Motogordo (Gordon) from Delanco, New Jersey .I gave myself that nickname since I love lots of different motor vehicles.
