• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Best magazine

What kind of information are you looking for? My husband subscribes to just about every motorcycle magazine that is published and it is very rare that he shows me any Spyder related articles. If you want to learn about Spyders this is the place to be.

What's the best motorcycle magazine for a Spyder rider to read?

SpyderLovers.com!

This place is in fact full of more info than most could absorb!

Any printed rag would be full of ads, BS, and commercial hype!

Sorry just my honest opinion.

Bob

Used to I couldn't wait for my ON, now I'm lucky if I read it at all! Love their travel stories however always neat to travel vicariously through them!

Wow Bob!
Sent from my home in Central Texas!

Any magazine whose articles are JUST long enough to allow them to be finished in time...

If you are a GoldWind Road Riders Association (GWRRA) member, they include a magazine in their membership. They are very acceptable of Spyders (well, BRP and a few :spyder2: dealers advertice there) and have pleanty of articles talking about road trips.

Spyder coverage is tough to find

Print coverage of the Spyder is tough to come by. To the best of my knowledge, SnowTech Magazine (snowmobile technology) has provided more coverage on the Can Am Spyder than any other print magazine – of any type.

Here is a list of the articles that have appeared in SnowTech Magazine since the introduction of the Cam Am Spyder.

March 2007 – Can Am Spyder initial introduction

September 2007 – Influence of Ski-Doo REV Snowmobile on the Can-Am Spyder

December 2007 – First Cam-Am Spyder Rolls off the Assembly Line

Oct/Nov 2008 – 5,000 Mile Test Report – Can-Am Spyder

Oct/Nov 2009 – BRP Adds Touring Model to Can-Am Spyder Line

September 2010 – 25,000 Mile Test Report – Can-Am Spyder

Oct/Nov 2010 – Introduction of the 2011 Can-Am Spyder RS-S

March 2011 – BRP to Develop Hybrid Technology for Can-Am Spyder

December 2012 – Introduction of the NEW 2013 Can-Am Spyder ST

The best Motorcycle rag and the only one I subscribe to is Motorcycle Consumer News.:firstplace: No advertising allowed so you get the bad along with the good on everything they review. The down side is the price since there are no ads to help pay for it.
I really like when they compare products. Recently they did Bluetooth headsets as I may want to upgrade to a stereo version and it was great to see the pros and cons.

I used to subscribe to Cruiser, Cycle, Motorcycle Consumer Reports, and Rider. I am now down to Rider only. It gives information across the board on all brands. Not a lot of Spyder articles in any of them, as they don't do re-hash articles. They only report on the new and wonderful. Last year the ST got a write up and this year there should be some information about the 2014 RT's.

A lot of the information from the others was either redundant, or all about crotch rockets--of which I have no interest.
