• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Best exhaust question

I'm wondering what you all think is the best exhaust to run on a stock 2013 RS-S. Has anyone tried the voodoo?

i realize this is a vague question since a lot is taken into consideration to determine what people is the best.

thanks

Choices choices..!!

Your going to get a lot of answers and may not be any better off. I started with the Hindle, great pipe nice low end power great sound but rattled apart too many times. I now have the Yoshimura R77 which so far is proving to be a better pipe. Comes with a removable baffle for different tones and performance...now you will still have to make the choice cause those are the only ones I know anything about...

Thank you

HMF

+1 on the HMF. you can't beat it for 300 bucks. ( unless you make your own)

I can only comment on the Yosh I just put on my RT but it's well built and sounds good. Have not tried it without baffle yet. Wife prefers quieter. We agree to disagree! ;)

I leaned to the 2-Bros cut it was so cheap (like the HMF ) but saw on SL info on a site called 4wheelonline? I'm like wth. Site like that wouldn't carry bike parts but sure enough they have (or had) Yoshi 's for less than $300 :yikes:

Done deal and no problem with the site or the shipping.

Added also: there are a load of 2-bros ads out there on one particular part number that the ads indicate will fit my 2013 RT when their own 2-bros Web site shows it not to. Research the fit. Don't trust these ads (eBay or amazon)

great deal

never thought you could touch a yoshi or two bros. for that kind of a price. good for you.

Are most people buying mufflers for just the sound or is there a decent, noticeable power increase as well?

I ordered a voodoo this past week I have a 13 sts got the dual muffler for under 400 off Amazon free shipping

I don't see any negatives by freeing up the exhaust but I suspect that just a muffler ain't gonna do much with that 'mouse-maze' of a cat still under my RT. It's on the short list to be deleted!

Does anyone out there make a after market muffler for the 2014 RT? Not found one yet.

Jack

Lamont put a tail gunner exhaust on his custom F3, so you could contact tail gunner exhaust to ask about a pipe for a 2014 RT. Non are listed on their web site here is the link http://tailgunnerexhaust.com/?page_id=2144

Also Pit Bull power sports is also making an exhaust for the F3, you might want to contact them too here is the link http://www.pitbullpowersportsinc.com/index.htm

I have a Hindle, the rattles comes from the heat shield which is rivited, I too got pissed off with the rattle, I simply drilled the rivets out and voila no more heat shield or rattle, the Hindle now sounds like a real motorbike with cohonnes.

I had the Two Brothers dual canister exhaust like flexfire above has when I had my 2010 RS-S.Looks great and sounds mean
