• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Hi All

Just back from the dealer and had new tires put on all around, stock on the front and Toyo on the back. Asked the dealer to re torque the pulley and to set the belt tension to to the lower end of spec. After I gave him my first born I mean paid him I asked what was the tension on the belt, he said 1100 newtons, I said I thought the new service bulletin said 450 newtons, he said what new service bulletin. OH MAN .

When i was in Daytona and BRP was checking belts , mine was about 250 Newtons and some were 1500 newtons. All supposable with-in spec.

Finally my question is my belt to tight ???

First , Unless they check the BRP Boss Web site they were unaware of the new belt tension of 450 N .
1100 N is 246 Lbs which is quite possible because mine was 1050 N or 235
before he lowered it to 600 N or 134 Lbs.

If the tech measured yours at 250 N it would have been 56 Lbs.
I think (IMHO) the 450-600 N range or 100 Lbs to 134 Lbs. is a better range.

It amounts to which measurement was correct?:dontknow:
