• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Belt squeal

I searched and found the grease fix (works great), only temporary though. What is the permanent fix??

If it is rubbing the inside flange and squealing from that, the belt needs realigned. I have adjusted them before that were 4 full turns tracking too far to the right against the shoulder. Someone had thought they could adjust them and got it wrong.
Should have 1-5 mm gap from the flange. To check make sure you have been going forward. When you back up the alignment changes and you cannot go by where the belt is.

Little checking..

Check the belt tension. They keep changing the recommended setting for the different models but run it on the looserear side of the recommendation..

I had the same issue last year after my dealer installed a new rear tire. The rear tire needs to aligned so there is a gap between the edge of the belt and flange of the sprocket. Once I adjusted it, no more squeal and it stopped pulling to the right.
