• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

belt squeaking

I have a 2012 rt ...what can i put on my belt to make it quit squeaking.its driving me crazy...please help !!!!:gaah:

The service bulletin suggests a specific grease. What that is I do not know... but the next time I am the dealer I will bring a small cup and ask for some.

When I mentioned it the last time I was at the dealer the "tech" walked out with just a small dab on his finger and wiped it on the flanged-side of the belt. He didn't use much at all.

The squeak disappeared and stayed that way for quite some time... however it did reappear. Looks like something that needs to be done based on miles and whether the machine gets wet enough or dusty enough to make the grease ineffective.

If you click the picture it will get larger and you should be able to read it. It says to put 2 pencil eraser size dabs of XPS Synthetic grease on the belt sprocket on the inside of the belt. One on each side of the sprocket.
