• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Belt issues???

Has anyone had trouble with their belt moving to the outside of the rear sprocket. Mine will move about 1 inch from the inside to the outside. It gets adjusted by my tech and then about 3 weeks later it'll do it again. Any ideas????

Did the tech check the tension, in addition to the alignment? If so, my guess is a faulty part which won't hold the setting, or a bad belt. Keep after the tech to make it right. That much movement is far more than an adjustment problem, and can cause belt or drive failure.

I agree. In addition, to me it sounds like the axle nut was not tightened correctly... takes a pretty hefty torque setting. My bet is that.

OK, it turns out that the rear sprocket has some sort of a bearing... not the wheel bearing, and it's caused the rear sprocket to have some play in it. Most likely it's shot so my tech is ordering all the stuff to replace it without taking is apart to see first. That way, he'll open it, replace the parts that need replacing and I'm back on track. if you know what I mean.

Glad you found the answer. I figured it was something drastic to go that far off. Hope you're on the road again soon.
