• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Belt Guard Yes or No?

I installed the belt guard when I first got my RS-S because I live on a gravel road. I've had no problems so far. Nice work Spyderpops and thanks!

If it is hard to see then when you buy a used spyder how can you tell if it has one on it?

You can see it from the right side of the bike. If you look underneath and can see the belt directly in front of the tire, it doesn't have one. You can see it from the same position on the left, but tougher to tell what your looking at, if unfamiliar with it.

I don't have one yet :opps:, but I'm being cautious until I do!

:agree: Same here, been thinking about it for a while. Many times "chatt gravel" will be on the pavement in the spring left over from the mixture put down with Salt when it snows from winter. You can hear this stuff flying up hitting your fender wells in the car. I think the belt guard is worth getting.
