• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Belt frequency modulation for tension setting

Well, It's used by Goodyear---what would they know--they do more than tires--including wind tunnels to project aerodynamic drag. I worked for www.hunter.com aka Hunter Engineering & product sales on their tire balancing, mounting, & front end alignment equipmment---field sales but the initial class was 6 weeks long in St. Louis area & a very small % of the 6 week class was on sales.

I tried to develop a section of my spyderCodes app to mimic the Gates meter recommended by BRP.
The problem I had was that the microphone or audio compressionn circuits wouldn't reliably pick up the sub-audio harmonic required for the long thick belt.

I hope you have found something that does work because it is the most accurate way to adjust the tension.
