• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I did my own belt adjustment today. Had to remove hitch, loosen up muffler to get room for the old deep 36mm socket found in tool box(old VW days) Took about 1.5 Hours. I used Nancy's way of testing belt tension.Belt was was very loose. I also noticed how easy it was to loosen axel, nut, could not have been tight enough.
Sure made a better smoother running machine. Bike is 2010 RTS

Memories, In 1971 I bought a 36 mm to pull the flywheel [gland nut] on my VW Dune Buggy,
It sat in my tool box never to be used again until the Spyder came along.:2thumbs:
That tool is almost as old as some of my underwear. :D
