• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Belt adjustment / alignment ?

Hard to say..!!

depends on your dealer/mechanic. When is your next service..?? They should check and adjust then anyway...:dontknow:

Just a note. It is very common for the belt to move away from the flange like that after backing up.
So if you just backed up before seeing this, try going forward and look at it again.

As Chupa said if your next service is coming up real soon I think you can just wait. I have seen worse than this before myself.
If not it will probably cost you a full hour labor to adjust it and how much that is depends on your dealer.

I learned to do it myself as the belt for me changed quite a bit in the first 2,000 miles even after the 600 mile service which my dealer adjusted the belt perfectly. So now I do it myself to save $100 visits several times. There are many posts on here on how to do it. It's not the "official" BRP way but I can tell you, you can do it and it's not rocket science. The belt adjustment spec has a 30% leeway so plenty of room if you use the Kirkit gauge especially if you stay in the middle of the adjustment. Just my opinion there.

Looking at the pics that actually looks like the correct alignment , if the belt is not loose I don't think I'd mess with it. If it loose when the tension is adjusted the belt depth probably gonna half to be readjusted as well
