• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Behind a RT?

The recommended maximum weight for towing with the RT is 400 lbs. I believe the mini mate weighs in at about 260 lbs., so you will not have an issue towing this trailer and packing another 140 lbs of cargo in the hold. Others on this forum have camper trailers like the Aspen Sentry which weigh in at about 300 lbs. and they tow them with the RT.

FYI: The Can Am 622 trailers weighs in at 200 lbs.

Hope this helps.

Thr RT-622 weighs 250 pounds empty.

My Midwest manual says that the dry weight of the 622 is 113 kgs (250 lbs) but unfortunately my fingers typed 200. ( Must have been thinking about U.S. to CDN price differences for RT accessories while I typed that figure):banghead:

Camper

If anyone is interested in seeing one of these in person, there will be one at Spyderfest. I've owned mine since february of '10. I've pulled it about 1500 miles behind behind my RT. Even when the lid is closed, there's 15 cu. ft. of available storage. It's now painted to match my RT.

If this gentlemen thinks that the road from Whitehorse to the Alaska border is bad then he obviously has never driven the Dempster Hi Way. I have lived and worked in the oilfield most of my life and have spent years traveling that hi way I think in the last 10 years the road has improved greatly. Yes there is gravel it is after all the Great White North:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Love the Bunkhouse...now just have to try to make my wife accept this method of sleeping...:banghead:

??? Method of sleeping? On a mattress with electric blanket. :dontknow: Granted, not a water bed or sleep number but...it is off the floor/ground. :roflblack:
