• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Every one of those accidents could have been easily prevented. :banghead:

Darwins theory

Was beer involved??? " Hold my beer and watch this!!"

We have a unsupervised range about 25 south of me in Carson City, Nv. Five of us old farts went shootin' 2 weeks ago and NOBODY got hurt, not even close. Only one malfunction when a 5.56 round was in another batch of simular looking ammo. Bolt wouldnt close so the owner called us all over to see if the chamber was bad. I looked at the shell that wouldn's seat and it was about 1/4" to long compared to the caliber of the rifle.

But back to the range---it is self supervised and everyone is very careful and curtious ( and most are carrying concieled )

Was he shooing a "Triple-Deuce" at the time? :dontknow:

That's a REAL easy mistake to make... and it can be nasty, if you throw one of them into a .223... nojoke

My niece was at an unsupervised range on Sunday shooting a .22 rifle with her Dad and shot herself in the foot. The rifle was pointing down but I wasn't there so I don't what other factors were involved. It just goes to show you can't be too careful when guns are involved.

The people in the video are lucky none of them are dead.......yet.

Been too close to a few dumb accidents like those, 1 death. Was teaching a flame thrower class & had a student with a run away gun. Guess he forgot the gun was attached by a hose to the tank on his back, threw it down & turned around to run. I was glad he didn't turn toward me. Our range corpsman got hit with it in the face, neck, & shoulder, not too bad thou, took some time to grow his hair back.
