My deepest condolences to Ken and Laura's daughters. It is indeed a very difficult thing to lose one's parents no matter what the circumstances. You are one special person, and a friend that I am sure that the family appreciates. I was present when my dad died, but sadly not when my mom did. Ken was very fortunate to have friends and family with him when he passed. I hope that he and Laura are together riding.

I want to thank you for all the comments and will pass these on to the girls. They are having a wake tomorrow evening but we won't make that due to scheduling. We will be there for the memorial service Friday.

Always sad to hear. My thoughts are with the children.

Lost my mum this time last year at 92. It was sad but she'd been suffering dementia and in her
sentient moments she often said that she wanted to be back with her mum so in some ways
her departure was what she ultimately wanted and came as something of a relief to those of
us left behind. We all greatly miss the lady that she once was, now many years ago. There's
nothing but pain seeing your loved ones deteriorate with dementia.

It's been a rotten 3 months for all of us that loved Laura and Ken. They were just good people who tried to be a friend to everyone they knew. They both will be sadly missed
