• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Been Away but Back after Back Surgery and a Fun Lake Superior Circle Tour

Been away from Spyderlovers but back after back surgery. Just completed an awesome circle tour of Lake Superior with 3 buddies. This was year 12 memorial ride for my wife's departure. The Canadian wilds were awesome and we hit some beautiful blue sky weather. Along the way 5 moose, 1 bear, many deer and eagles and other assorted critters. The north side of Superior is the best riding, but the whole tour was amazing. With other riding in Wisconsin before turning for home, we logged just shy of 3500 miles.

Sounds like your recovery is going well. Wisconsin has some great riding. I grew up in Wausau, and rode all over northern Wisconsin during my high school years. Still get back to visit family. Sounds like you had a great trip. Heading to Wausau next week.

You aren't looking for advice, however, I'm going to give you some. It's been 10 years now since my back surgery.
I'll not forget my surgeon telling me, " if you don't want to see me again, DO NOT reach out away from your body and try to pick ANYTHING up!"
I haven't, and no problems since! Enjoy this Ryde!
