• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

if this was me i would either be bear poop today or the bear would be slipping and sliding in :cus: chasing me

That fella had a nice-lookin' coat on him!
Where's perfectly good .338 Win-Mag, when you really need it? :banghead:

Bears can run 30 miles per hour. Most can't outrun or out bike a bear to get away. There are a lot of things one can do, but that's for a different thread.

Lucky guy. He is lucky the bear was not interested.

I hate when that happens:roflblack:...

You've got to admit; if you were out hunting for bear, and witnessed THAT ; it'd make it tough to pull the trigger! nojoke

Cute dancing video. Bears can be funny and interesting...but enjoy them from a distance...as the video warned at the end.

Our summer season is filled with bear/people incidents that usually do not turn out well for the people.

when i went hunting for bear up at white face mountain in ny, i was sitting above a a big dip in the ground and i saw a tree shaking and i heard growls and snarls coming from down there, i did pray it would not come up to me. so it might of been that bear dancing down there.

This morning I was watching a Blue Jay at my feeder. A mole or mouse ran out from under the pine tree next to the feeder. That Blue Jay was on him in a heartbeat. He killed and was eating him in about a minute. Kind of like a bear catching a human.

John,
A bear would never eat you; for the same reason that they'd never eat me...
They don't know where we've been; but it HAD to be pretty miserable!
They like their food nice and tender! :roflblack:
