• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bear bent my front door like a sardine can

Wow! That is a little too close for comfort. Perhaps it was jealous that it couldn't use the doggy door. :dontknow:

I have a 410 and a 22 and a 38.....but. They are for protection against people. I really hate to shoot the wildlife , unless i'm going to eat them, . Not to mention the fines....I live in their home here in the middle of the forest. I feel all problems with wildlife are people related. In this case , I shouldn't have had cat food left on the porch. I know better. So now I have to get a new front door. It doesn't help that I live in the drop zone for problem bears. They need to open a hunting season on bears here. They are everywhere.

:agree::agree::agree:

I haven't seen a bear yet around here but they said there was a wild cat around in town - that was a year or so ago and they had pictures in the paper about it. We have deer in our yard 24/7. There is this little fawn - I mean tiny! So cute! I see deer every day before I go to work and when I come home. I sit on my porch and they see me, they don't care, all up close too. We have cayotes too - those I do not like but I do agree w/ you - it's a people thing.

Either that or build large fenced in pens for them and let the state pay you for keeping them from bothering anybody else. :D

Was someone home while the bear did this?

Not sure I wouldn't be peeing my pants if a bear was at my back door trying to get in. nojoke

I was at the back of the house with the door shut and the ac unit on. My dog was barking , but she barks all the time. The cats started fighting and I rapped on the window. I think I scared the bear away then. But I didn't see it until the next morning. Kinda embarrassing.
