There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Bead Balancing

Exactly what kind of liquid tire balance or is that the brand name?

Mike in KY
As I remember it that is the brand name. I'm sure there are other brands of basically the same stuff. It's the one the tire shop uses in truck and heavy duty pickup tires so it's not your everyday retail item like Ride-on.

Wow, only 3 oz? That is a lot less than the lead tape weight on my rear tire. I would have guessed it was going to be 5-6 oz because the tire is so big. I use these on all of my other bikes.

Thanks for the post of the weight. Do you know what weight you had on the bike before (lead tape weight)?

RIDE-ON is not an every-day brand of tire balancer its a very high quality product I have used in all my tired for very close to 47,000 miles with no problems oops corrected mileage... jtpollock

I used 3 oz. Of balance beads with a Kumho rear tire and was very pleased. I did not remove the original balance weight and it worked out great.

Sorry, it was 2 years ago. Can't remember. Different tire.

Dyna Beads are good. But I have been using Ride-On in my motorcycle tires for several years with all the motorcycles I have owned. It has given me greater stability, smoother ride, and most importanly, vastly extended tire life. Ride-On is a gooey liquid instead of the beads, but does the same dynamic balancing with the added benefit of instant puncture repair.

I just got my Spyder 2 weeks ago, and received my 4 bottles of Ride-On in the mail yesterday. I installed it in all three tires this morning.

I think the tire guys hate Ride on because of the mess. The small ceramic beads are not an issue and can be reused if you do your own work. I have heard of people using BB's.

In my experience the tire guys are not as peeved if you give them a heads-up about the Ride-On before they bust the tire. Same with the Dyna Beads. If they aren't prepared, the little beads are all over the floor.

I just had a new tire put on at town fair tire, they said it is the slime that is bad, they actually scooped out my Ride-on and put it in my new tire and they found a 1/4 20 screw in the tire just the threads no top. I had 16,000 on the tire, worn evenly but a little more in the middle.

I just installed a Douglas GTH 215/60R 15
I installed 3 ounces of ceramic beads.
I am sold. Rides as smooth as silk.
Very happy.

I just replaced my rear tire over the weekend. Went with a Michelin Defender. Didn't bother to have the tire balanced. Used Ride On in the tire and the rides very smooth. I would definitely recommend it.
