• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Be thankful if you have a good Spyder Dealer

Good Dealer

Sounds like you did the right thing Lamonster, I'm sure your lack of ref. to their bus. will hurt. :doorag: Thanks for being there for us all:2thumbs:

Yah that would make me mad as heck as well.. In my honest opinion I believe I have one of the best dealership a person could ever have.. They are totally for the customer and I am always, always 101 percent satisfied when I walk out the door, I need not tell you who the dealership is but I can tell you this, they are on the home page of spyderlovers, again, outstanding dealership... Sorry for some of you members have such a poor dealership, It makes it hard when you can not get the supported needed..

. . . . lately, there seem to be a lot of Zombie Threads. :yikes:

But, the overall point that Lamont made is still valid. Sadly, we all don't live next to Cowtown. Though, luckily now, I have a good service department, no complaints from me.

GA dealer question

Anyone have experience with Polaris-Can Am in Lawrenceville? I purchased my 09 SM% in Athens and they no longer sell Can Am (probably a good thing).?

Bad dealerships

Lamonte, decided to give Alcoa Good Times another chance. I called to make an appointment for the 6000 mile ck up. I have to drive 1 1/2 hrs each way and they said they no longer make appointments they only have one mechanic. I said I would be there when they opened the door, and they said I would have to leave the spyder 2 or 3 days to do an 1 and 1/2 hr service, thats 6 hrs of driving for me, I took it to East Tenn ATV at 8:30 a.m. and was on my way by 10:00 a.m. East Tn ATv top notch best dealer ever:2thumbs:

This is BS. For the money they get for these machines, they should take good care of there base.:lecturef_smilie:
