• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Be Careful Out There

Glad you were able to stop in time, akspyderman. Thanks for the reminder that we all need to assume that everyone on the road is out to kill us, even if they are just pulling out of a driveway.

one second sooner....

Just got back from running errands in town.On my way in town I am coming from a side road to the intersection of a state highway with a traffic light. The speed limit on the highway is 55,I've got the green
but you can't see oncoming traffic in either direction due to the hills on
both sides until you have reached the white line at the intersection. As I am coming down the hill to the intersection I am thinking I am going to have to keep my speed up somewhat to make the light and turn left onto the highway.Just as I reach the intersection the light turns yellow and an:cus: runs the redlight.Had I been one second sooner into the intersection I would be dead right now.Guess it wasn't my time.

This was just another instance to remind me just how vulnerable we are to the idiots on the roads.

On a brighter note yesterday I went on my first group ride of more than 3 bikes with my co-workers.We had Harleys,Hondas,Suzukis,Yamhas, and my Spyder leading the group. It was awsome looking in my mirror and seeing a line of 17 bikes behind me.We had to cut our ride a little short due to running into rain but everyone had a good time and vowed to do it again.
