• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery

Well we just got back from a non Spyder vacation and we had not started the poor beast for a little more than two weeks. I thought I would ryde in to work this morning as a treat. Got all suited up (ATGATT) and it would not quite turn over..........close but not quite (all lights worked so there is some battery life). I didn't want to push it so jumped into the car and drive into work. What can I do to get her started again?:banghead:

Boost it the same as you would a car. If it is pre 13 the battery can be boosted by lifting the seat, if it is 13 or newer you will need to boost inside the frunk, you owners manual will provide the information as well.

Good luck

Battery..!!

you will need to charge the battery. These machines like fully charged batteries. I would suggest getting the battery tested to make sure it will hold the charge don't know how old it is or what mods are on the bike. Many keep a battery tender on them if not ryding for extended periods. If you don't have a tender, or charger you can jump start it and take a long ryde to charge it up...good luck...

2013

Bought it in August of 2013 so not quite a year old. No electrical mods accept for Custom Dynamics third brake light. Will the battery tender charge it to the point that it will start. It is so close to starting right now it seems like it just needs a little boost.

Battery Tenders aren't designed to charge-up a dead battery...
They're much better at keeping a healthy one.. healthy!
Do you have a regular charger, that you can turn down to a lower charging rate? I'd give it a couple of hours on one of those, and then hook it up to a Tender! :2thumbs:
