Went out to go for a ride yesterday and my Spyder turned over really slow but fired up just, did about 15miles then stopped for fuel.Did the same again but started so didn't go as far as I'd planned but when I got back home and tried it again it turned over as normal so am guessing the battery charge was low.I only use my spyder on weekends as I know the short commute to my work isn't good for the battery but am now thinking leaving it sitting all week the battery is draining as well.Problem I have is it's kept in a council garage with no power for a trickle charge and I read something the other day about even when switched off there's still a drain on the battery is this true?I have ordered a new battery which I assume is an easy change over but does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can stop my new battery from draining as at £74 I wouldn't like to be replacing it every other month
