• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It looks like the great Black Friday sale on this unit has fizzled. See post #19 below. I don't find any other BF ads for BTs that look good.

Great price! Got mine on Amazon for $24.99
They also give you different quick disconnect harnesses so there are a few setup options.

Will this sale price launch on the actual Black Friday (day after US Thanksgiving) or sooner? Reason I ask is I was running around with my wife yesterday and many retailers are already claiming to have active Black Friday sales already on. I guess like pumpkin beer and Halloween Candy coming out in August and Mad Elf beer in mid-October. But I digress....

Would like to pick one up and this is a great price when available.

Probably, but I really don't know. BFads.net site might have more info. I haven't pursued this at all since I have no need to buy one. I recently bought a DieHard charger/maintainer that has a really good readout of battery/charger/maintainer status.

I don't disagree, just showing some options. That said, I have had two BT Juniors go defective in the past two years. Both out of warranty. If they're out of warranty, you can call Deltran for replacement. They'll give you a RA#, you pay shipping there, and for $10 they'll mail you out a brand new one. Got brand new, full packaged units for about $16/shipped. Just some FYI ...
 
Watch amazon and Walmart. I printed out the add you are referring to for $19.00 and took it to my local true value store to make sure they would have some in stock. They are NOT honoring the add. True value "dropped" the battery tender JR. It will NOT be on sale. I looked on the true value's website too and the site for the battery tender jr no longer opens and is not listed anymore. I purchased at Walmart last week and had it delivered for $21.99 plus tax. Free shipping to local store. Just thought I'd share if you are depending on the true value black Friday add. Click on the the link provided in the first post it has been closed. The Black Friday add still works.

Thanks for the info. Amazon and Walmart ads have been posted at BFads.net but apparently there's no BT in them. A search only brings up 2, one that shows out of stock, and Sears.com linking to an eBay seller. I don't find it in the Sears BF ad scan.
