• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery Tender Lead/Harness Location

Where's everyone locating their battery tender lead? I ended up drilling a hold in the frunk basin and using a rubber gromet to finish it off. Turned out ok, and provides easy access.

Depends..!

on the model and battery location. Your looks great and works for you. Many end up under the seat...well done..:2thumbs:

Mine is under the seat. However, I added a plug to extend it to a cig plug on the dash. Makes it easier to use and gives a 12v plug on the dash.

No drilling, ran it out the back and attached it right next to the left shock. Easy access.

I read somewhere on this forum that you can plug the tender into the cigarette lighter adapter jack in the trunk after moving a fuse to make this outlet full time live. I am new to this so I want to make sure this is correct and safe on the electrical system.

Same here, the F3 is so open why drill any holes?I just ran it out the back and zip tied to a solid surface also used it to plug in my phone by using a usb coverter and bringing the phone charging cable up through the steering wheel to charge phone on a ram mount.

You are correct; you won't hurt the electrical system.
