There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Battery Maintainers - on sale at Napa Oct '21

I just thought I'd put this out there for those who may need a decent battery maintainer. Right now Napa currently has a nice 1.5 amp battery maintainer with battery pigtail on sale for $19.99, I currently have 3 maintainers that I've been using on all my bikes for the last several years. One of my Schumacher maintainers is going on the blink, so I just ran up to Napa and bought two of these as back up spares, a great price for a good maintainer.

FYI, I purchased one of these kits online and paid using my PayPal account. Got a response from NAPA almost immediately after placing the order that the store I bought from (10th street, Ocala Fla.) will notify me via email when this order is ready to be picked up. So easy! Plus, I was asked if I'd like a text notification which I took them up on. This gives me an excuse to go for a ride to pick it up. Win-Win!

I've been in the market for another battery maintainer, especially since the battery in my Spyder RT went flat less than a week ago, due to me playing the radio and not riding it, so for sure I’ll hook up the pigtail included in this kit to my RT, that way so long as I plug the maintainer in after riding and especially when listening to the radio while it's parked, I won't suffer from a flat Batt.

So much to do, so little time in which to get it done!

~~~been in the weeds all weekend, never had a chance to go there and pick it up. Glen, a peep I know who has worked there ever since I’ve lived in Marion county left me a voicemail an hour after they opened Saturday saying “it’s ready, come pick it up”. I’m shooting for sometime later this morning
I did the same thing. I ordered them online too, but I didnt wait for the email notification, I just went up there and picked them up a couple of hours after ordering. Never did receive a notification, they probably cancelled it out when I picked them up.
Hey Rick!, I picked it up Monday, did the pigtail connection wit/the battery in my Spyder RT. It works well from what i can tell. I swear i read the instruction manual that came with it yet, whoever wrote it, likely lives on another planet. IOW, I didn’t get much out of it
As an aside, back when we lived in Detroit, a married couple our age back then who happened to have purchased a bird from us as that was one of the things we did for cash, the 4 off us struck up a friendship. Mainly date night dinners, that sort of thing. Anyways, phil had writing skills, would get hired to write manuals, not unlike the one that came w/this charger. Thing was, Phil had no more mechanical aptitude than the man in the moon. Me thinks Phil had a hand in writing this manual
at not quite a foot long, she (the pigtail) isn’t long enough to route the way i want to go but, it’ll do until i either lengthen it by splicing wiring to it or, i use a longer pigtail
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while,
Used mine already. No complaints. Seems if the battery is low when hooked up, the signal light blinks on/off. Then when its totally charged, the signal light is steady on. Simple enough! I just need a longer pigtail to route it how i want to access it
If I winterize my battery I plan on hooking it up to my 400w 12v solar panel system I got mounted on my shed. I use it to charge a 250amp battery back-up system that I use when the power goes out.
