Does anyone know how to get to the battery compartment in a 2014 RS

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2012 RS-S and the Battery is under the left side rear panel near the grab handel... tried to send photo but I am still learning this time it did not work...jtpollock

Your avatar shows an RT. Now looking at the RS parts layout the battery is now located in the front on the unit. Must be like the ST in the frunk under a panel. Owners manual should show You how to get there. Good thing to read if you have it if not worth getting...:thumbup:

The battery in all models 2013 and later is located behind the front trunk. To get access to it on a RS, remove the battery access panel located inside the front trunk on the rear wall.

Thank you all for your input. As for my avatar picture. Yes, it is RT, but my wife has RS, there is a difference. If I had time to sit around all day and read my manual I would do it. Since I've had other things more important to do other than read the manual at this time, I figure I would ask someone to save time.
