• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

battery charger/maintainer pigtails

Every maintainer that I have purchased has come with two different pigtails; one is a clamp on, and the other is ring terminals, with a plug at the opposite end. I have had a powerlet pigtail for a number of years that I connect to a powerlet outlet on my dash, and the other end is the plug. The powerlet is energized at all times; it's SAE:

I purchased another Odyssey battery charger for the Odyssey battery in my spyder. This time around, the charger's cable plug in connections are smaller, both male and female. Since the powerlet is SAE, I'm wondering if the pigtails in Europe may be smaller. I only mention Europe b/c on the box I recognize some French. Also, the powerlet male connection cannot be forced into the charger's female connection; I did try.

I have a 2008GS.

Next hibernation season, I'll just have to use the clamp on connections under the seat.
