• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery change question

I’m going to have to change my battery soon. Is there anything special I have to do once I hook it back up, before I start it, like set anything, hold buttons to reset anything ? Or will everything reset once it’s started ? Thanks

Have a 2014 RTS and the battery is dead. Have a battery charger and an able to charge it back up. Question: Do I have to take all the connections off the battery to charge?

unhook negative terminal first, then unhook positive
on install of new battery, hook positive terminal first, then negative terminal
you will need to reset clock, and maybe other functions (probably radio presets, if you have them)
I doubt much will reset on its own

If you're buying one that comes with the acid in a bottle be sure to let it soak for a day or two before you charge it. You'll have to reset your clock and some audio settings.
