• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have 2008 Can Am Spyder GS. The saddle bag mounting bracket has the turn signal extensions. How do I get to the battery (without having to take the whole rear area apart)?

Your battery is

Under the left rear turn signal panel. You will have to remove the left side middle panels, and lower the left side of the tail splash pan.

Because you have the optional Givi bags you have couple extra steps. Remove the tail splash pan, not just loosen the left side. Remove the bolt holding the turn signal stock in.

Just had a new battery installed on Sat. Here are two pics.

Anyone else think its lame that the "can am" bags have to have the signals relocated? :)

The standard position of the indicators is a pain in the neck for panniers even throw over ones. Whatever way you go you will probably have to relocate the indicators. With the Givi kit the relocators put the indicators on the rear fender (I'm guessing the BRP ones the same as I think Givi make the BRP kit). Personally I think this looks pretty ugly and also puts more weight on the rear fender and the infamous cracking struts. This is particularly a problem in Australia and New Zealand as our rear indicators are much larger than the ones you have in the US.

I ended up replacing mine with mini-led ones that I fitted on the sides of the rear fender where the amber reflector normally is, and for comparison also a picture of the standard NZ one with the standard Givi relocation kit:
