• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good morning fellow ryders. I have a 2013 RT that I bought used. It did not have the zip in frunk liner with it which doesn't really bother me, but I am also missing the battery access panel. Does anyone happen to know the part number of this panel or where to purchase one cheaper than at a dealer?

Go to the " cheapcycleparts " web site and look up your Spyder ….. you can find that part ( any thousands of others ) …… they are a lot less than the dealer …. Mike :ohyea:

Here you go...

Part # 705004628 battery access panel $20.99 at cheapcycleparts.com Same part # at the dealer if you want to check price and availability.

Easy Rider when I open the frunk I can see my battery. I want to close it off so I don't have anything sitting against it when I load my duffle bag in there. Thank you very much. I will definitely check out cheap cycle parts and thank you for the part number.

I was going to suggest getting a frunk liner too.......but if you will be cramming a lot of stuff in there you probably are better off without it.
The battery door is necessary.......to keep water and other crap from coming in.

FRUNK Liner, the front trunk can be the stock hard plastic frunk, or can have a felt like liner in it that deadens some noises and if not sealed properly can absorb a lot of water.. don't ask me how I know...;)
