Battery accesiblity 2014 RT

So I need to access the battery to hook some electrics -- bought the online service manual from Best Shop Manuals -- did a search on battery removal and it appears that the whole frunk tupperware needs to come off -- I thought maybe I could just pull out the lining where the luggage goes -- am I reading this correctly?

You can access the battery by unzipping the liner then remove the 2 #30 Torx screws in the top of the battery cover. The cover will swing forward then you can lift it up.
