• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Base 2014 RT question

I pick white this time, and, of course, the base doesn't have the fog lights - since I rarely ride at night (almost never), they won't be missed. However, there are black plastic covers to replace them - has anyone painted those? Any other ideas to dress them up a bit??

Does anyone know if the SpyderPops rock guard will fit on the 2014?? If so, it's a must have!!

Yes and yes..!!

I have painted them metalflake silver and it worked nicely. As Ann said there is a bumpskid for your model at spyderpops..

PAINT

Dragonrider , I used this to paint my dashboard .......Dupli-color " PERFECT MATCH " it's a Toyota color called " White Pearl " I bought it at Advance Auto ......But any store that carries Dupli-color Paint can get that color....................It's so close its scary.........But be advised its a translucent paint ....so you need to paint whatever WHITE first.....Because otherwise it will a few cans to change Black to White .............Mikeguyver :thumbup:

Like the wheels & price

The base 2014 RT has 90% of what the RT-S has for a lot less money. I like the looks of the wheels better too but the limited color choices of either black or white is keeping looking towards the RT-S in either Cognac or Yellow. In my opinion the black wheels look better with the yellow than they do with the orange. Just my two cents worth.

Nice-looking ride! :2thumbs:
Didn't CowTown used to paint those covers a few years ago? :2thumbs:

Roger - the "old style" fenders was a big plus for me too. MUCH easier to keep clean. Then there's the $4,000 savings to add the farkles I want - like the tall vented windshield, which I would have had to add to the "S" anyway....

I have heard from many 14 owners. The dealerships are telling them to forgo the bumpskid as the 14 is quite low already and it may make it too low!!

Larry;

FTI, the SpyderPops rock guard is on it's way for my RT - if you don't have one, start saving for a new belt!! Been there, done that, & have the "T" shirt. :opps:

The "Bump Skid" was never on my list, nor will it be, but the sway bar might be.
