• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bargain bag, I can't afford those fancy ones

My wife wanted to be able to carry more gear than would fit in the trunk, but the bags that many others have posted here were out of my price range. I saw a bag on Ebay that looked to me like it would be a perfect fit across the passenger seat, from handle to handle. I got it today, and it's just right and the built in velcro straps work perfectly as-is. I only paid $50 for it, and that includes shipping! I'll try to post some pics of the bag on the Spyder, but for now, here's the pic from the auction.

The bag is listed as a "Honda Goldwing Rack Luggage Bag with Rain Cover".

The Ebay seller seems to stock these all the time, their ID is: championcoverusa.

Looks like a great buy. If it works for you, that's what's important. Many happy rydes to you and yours.

Good buy! A seat bag is an excellent solution for toting extra stuff. My wife has the Can-Am seat bag, and it hold a lot. She can carry all her stuff to work at the school in the trunk and seat bag.....a big load! Well done.

The company which makes the bag is about 45 mins away from me. I may ride to the shop and see if they can make one just for the spyder.

Had a great ryde today, up in the North Georgia Mountains. Wife put in about 160 miles, much of that was twisties. We had a blast. Now, as promised, here's the bag, ON the Spyder.

My wife wanted a water proof bag so we can take more stuff.
I was looking for something like the bag you got. Since we can't afford the hard bags right now either.
Our solution was to ride up to the local bass pro shop and buy a boat bag for $26.99. Its water proof and fits right where yours does.
And for all of you that have a yellow spider, you'll love this bag cause its yellow.
I will try to get the wife to take some pics on Sunday before we take off for our ride.
Bass pro shops item number 38-875-228-00. 24x12x12 size Med.
Well I just looked on line and on line it's $19.99. Oh well I was still a good ride out there.
