• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Baker Built Belt Tensioner

Installed the new Baker Built Belt Tensioner on wife's RT yesterday, very easy install. Remove belt guard (Torx bit #27) for access, remove 15mm nut on lower shock bolt, install kit, put roller on and center on belt, re-check all bolts for tightness. Test drive to verify roller is aligned on belt, re-install belt guard.

My little test ride to verify roller alignment indicated that it works as advertised. This is my wife’s ride so I cannot speak to any of the performance issues as weather has not permitted us to get out on a performance run.

I would really like to hear back after you get to try it some more if it reduces harmonics in the drive belt.

Haven't got a lot of miles since I put one on my 2013 RT, but I will say it is a pretty straight forward install UNLESS YOU HAVE A SPYDERPOPS BELT GUARD ALREADY INSTALLED! :gaah: Also, the roller tended to rub just a bit on the factory belt guard. Solved that by taking a file to the lip of the guard. Not a big deal and you can't see the file marks unless you lay on the ground under the bike. Most folks won't be doing that! :D

Great job..!!

good pic's and install explanation. We have the smoothryder and it works well. Little more involved in the installation. Will have to see feed back on yours..!!
