• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bajaron's sway bar billet end links.

Thanks Ron, especially the jack part, and will assume I slide out first.

You know... You're RIGHT! There are probably some Spyderlovers trapped under their machine right now! I am SO Sorry for leaving yet another important step out of the sequence!

My Bad! :yikes:

Received my new fancy red links today...fast service, thank you Ron. Will give me peace of mind knowing I won't have to worry that the new sway bar will cause an issue with the stock plastic ones on my girlfriend's RSS

Sounds like you need the aluminum links base case. Own a 2013 ST with all of the heat issues and comfort level with BRP engineering is waning. Over budget on farkles for the year so can't afford the sway bar now but may replace the links anyway. Would/should I expect any improvement in handling even with the stock bar?

Links will not work with stock bar due to the diameter differance.

Are we talking about the same part ?
The billet heim link joints?

I recommend changing the plastic ones for the metal ones. There is no performance enhancement, but they are clearly more reliable than the plastic ones.
The links don't mount ON the swaybar, they bolt TO the swaybar. The diameter of the bar is irrelevant to the installation.

Am I mistaken ?

Hi Three,

Re: Am I mistaken ?

IMO you are not mistaken. About 5 months ago I installed Ron's sway bar and did not install his links.

Everything fit as it should. I can now install his links & they will fit as they should.

There is no difference from stock links to Ron's, other than plastic verses billet. They will bolt up to either bar.

Beautiful weather here in Nepal!

You are correct. The Billet Aluminum Heim Joint Links will fit perfectly on the Stock Sway Bar. You will not get any handling improvement with them over the plastic stock links. But they are bullet proof.

I have a German customer who was run off the road by a large truck. He dropped one wheel into a rocked drainage ditch which put a large gouge in one link. But other than the cosmetic damage he said the link is still performing perfectly. He was glad because he had another 400 km to go on his trip through the mountains and he did not want to do that with a broken link.
