• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bajaron Sway Bar

Added a Bajaron sway bar and end links last night. WOW what a difference, I was able to take the tight turns on my way work this morning at least 20 MPH faster with no issue.
I still can not figure out why BRP just don't make them like this out of the box. Once I add my Elkas this thing will be like a slot car.

There is no reason you should not put one your ride! 27 miles and I know it was an awesome decision. The install is not the most fun, I have a bruised thumb nail to prove it but that was more my fault with a slipped wrench. And the aluminum end bar links, yeah why would you make them out of plastic BRP, sure they may not break, but they do flex, twist, and bend. I was able to twist them with 2 pair of small pliers.

Thanks Bajaron good job!

Yep had mine done at a local bike shop for 100.00. I just did not have the jacks and figured after I purchased the equipment I needed I would have spent the same to have it installed. After install I could take the Colorado twisties harder and faster without the F3 trying to correct itself.

Dangerous jack-lift

I initial thought I could use my aluminum hydraulic jack & 2 jack stands for security. The pump jack wouldn't life hgih enough thus I use flat stone & 2x6" wood shimmed the bottom of both. Did this 3 times--had the wife come out for backup safety. The lift was still too low & had a touch of instability. I decided to forgo the floor jack & in the process of lowering the F3 slid sideways a bit & all came tumbling down.
I had fought the idea for a hoist lift but that's what I did. Drilled through a steel support column over head- Melted the 1/2 Kawasaki cordless drill battery & drill. Switched to a HD 3/8" electril drill to finish the drilling for a 3/8" x 8" bolt used to secure the anchor.
I went to Harbor Freight to buy the Haul Master 1 ton chain hoist #69338--raised it approx 34" in the front & completed the project.
After completion I begain to lower the F3 without any worning or feeling in the hand lift chain the from end drop slammed over 12"+ down. I checked everything to see if anything broke but nothting was out of order. I proceeded to lower the F3 again and after 1 hand chain move of approx 3"---Bang the F3 fell again stopping with the front wheels 3" off the ground.
This could be dangerous stuff--the entire problem was with the Harbor Freight Haul Master 1 ton chain hoist. Just a word of caution if this is your hoist tool. I'm aware of Jack supports & used them during my initial floor jack attemp but there is not a lot of room to remove bolts while safety jack stands are in place.
That's all folks--going shopping for new underwear today. Be Safe--Have fun---Darrell

I used ramps in reverse (backed onto them) for most of the work. Then used jack for extra height when removing stock bar. Had block of wood and jack in center front frame. Had 2 neighbors help tilt to one side. It went fast, maybe not the most secure way but it worked and we were safe.
