• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BajaRon on Facebook

I know that more and more people are using Facebook for their Spyder community contact media. There are some who may never visit Spyderlovers.com (which I think is a shame).

With the genuinely 'All New' Ryker now on the scene, and the hoped for younger crowd following. I felt it is well past time that I have a presence on Facebook.

I will be adding product to my Facebook page. But information is the key to getting your ride the way you want it. So good, reliable, understandable information will always be my primary goal.

The Spyder has generated a very unique community which I am proud to be a part of. I fully expect that the Ryker, though probably drawing on a somewhat different demographic, will do the same. If I can help. Let me know.

Together we can Enjoy the Ride and Experience the Adventure!

About time....

Not that I am there but your right in that it is time to get over there and reach out to all those that live there....:roflblack: and I do mean live there...:lecturef_smilie: Know you will do well and if they should not know about us you can always give them the link to get here.

Yay! I’m glad you chose to do this Ron. People often ask me how to contact you, I think it’s a great idea you’re on Facebook now. Best of luck.
Jarred.

Please don't leave this site. Not everyone uses Facebook, I never have and never will use Facebook.

I'm sure that I can speak for Ron on this matter, He's not going anywhere! :2thumbs:

Glade to hear that. When I joined this site back in 2014 I would see Lamonster post all the time and now it seems as though he does most of his stuff on Facebook and I miss him. I know he still post here, just not as much. I'm aware it's my choice not to be on Facebook, however more and more people are getting off Facebook so there is a large group of consumers that shouldn't be forgotten.

I recently sold my F3S Spyder but continue to keep this website on my favorites list because I like trikes and many of the folks on this forum. I still have a Harley Tri Glide Ultra. However, I used to glean lots of information from the likes of BajaRon, Lamonster and Don from F4 windshields and bought products from all of those vendors. Like many others of you who are not interested in Facebook, the migration to other platforms would be indeed sad. I bought products from many of the sponsoring vendors and I am sure that others feel the same obligation when we can oblige with products that are well suited to our Spyders. I hope that this is not a trend as this could become another site that I eventually would just drift away from. Bob

Probably see more faces on facebook than here. Especially with all the new changes and rules. Find myself more on there than on spyderlovers.
Search on here really sucks. Takes forever to find something. Faster to google it.
You'll do well on Facebook Ron. As far as the Ryker attracting a younger crowd doubtful but time will tell

You're right about 'Time will tell'. I hope BRP/Can-Am market survey's are correct, but we will see. If we don't get more interest generated in the young people coming along. The MC industry will continue its decline.

Somebody should have told Harley-Davidson that about 10 years ago....

Harley has been investing heavily in a certain demographic for a number of years. It paid off big time but it has begun to dawn on them that it was somewhat short-sighted as that segment of the population is going away.

I can help you get there, if that is the issue. Once you are on the BajaRon's Facebook Page, let me know if you have navigation issues and I'll try to help you with those. Everything new seems difficult to master at first. So don't feel bad. None of us were born knowing much of anything. And no one knows it all either.

To get to my Facebook page you can type 'BajaRon's Facebook' into your browser address window. Or you can click on the link below

I have slowly been adding content as I've had time. If you do not see what you are looking for there, let me know.

Great Product and Great Guy! We use Facebook as one of our ways of staying in touch with our customers and reaching new ones. Good Luck!
Don

I had a Facebook account. I closed it after 1 1/2 weeks. To much BS and clutter. Spyderlovers website rocks.

I can personally vouch for the fast delivery from Bajaron. I ordered a couple of oil filters with the washer/o rings on Thursday morning. Friday it was in the mailbox. As fast as that got here, I'm thinking maybe he rode down to the house and dropped them in the mailbox personally!
