• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does BahaRon install his sway bars and heim joints ? If not, does anybody have a suggestion on where to get it done. I live near Charlotte , NC.

Most important question, do they make a significant difference to improve the Spyder's cornering ability.

I have the sway bar installed on my STS... made a massive difference!
Just got back from a 800 mile two day trip around Rt 250, 220, 33, 50 etc and it was fantastic!

Any Can Am dealer can install for you. I had mine done at Ridersville Can Am in Berkeley Falls, WV

The sway bar eliminates the buffering from them big rigs.
well worth the cost.
get the lazer alignment also.

Yes Ron will install them. Honda of Winston Salem n. c. will also. I have a 2012 rt-s installed them myself.

For sure..!!

great improvement in handling and many shops will install them. Interestingly enough they won't install aftermarket tires though...:dontknow:

This is rated the #1 improvement you can do to your Spyder!
I noticed a vast improvement in handling and stability with the addition of the bar & joints.

if you are having the sway bar installed, just do the heim links!! ron's bar is well worth it. my wife even notices a difference in the ride.(as a passenger):2thumbs: we are happy campers!!

Most dealerships (and even non-Spyder dealerships) will install the bar kit. Just be sure to ask about cost before you have them do the work. Most charge 1 to 1.5 hrs. labor. Any more than this is too much.

If your dealer is not sure about the install (as in they've never done a bar before) you can have them call me. I can answer their questions and many times they have concerns if it is their 1st one. I can put them in touch with other dealerships that install quite a few of my bar kits.

Met two other Spyder owners today. Two of us have your sway bars installed, the other didn't. When asked, we both agreed that your bar is the single best modification to do.
