• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bad news if you want a set of 165/60R-15 Vredestein Quatracs from tire rack!

Well, I got some bad news - when I went to get it aligned; they were not able to do it because my Pitman Arm is damaged and stated that it could have only happened in a accident. I imagine the dealership that repaired it when I was rear ended never bothered to check the alignment after the repair (Swing Arm Assembly replaced) and missed it.

I went back to look at the estimate that was approved for the repairs and an alignment was not included in the repairs listed. It's only a $40 part, but about $700 in labor to fix it.

I would do it myself, but it is going to be undrivable after I replace it, and it moves the tie rods back to where they would normally be, then I'd need to trailer it up to have it realigned, which may require another disassembly if I place the Pitman Arm back in too far right or left for adjustment. Plus, there is the issue of actually pulling the Pitman Arm. I looked for some videos, but apparently no one has done a video for an F3 of pulling the DPS and Pitman Arm. Smoak had a video of a 2015 RT where he pulled the DPS and showed a tool, but it was for another make of vehicle. That, and Ryan took some extra time to find this for me, so I am letting him and his crew repair it.

I guess I need to try to reopen my case from getting rear ended, as that was the last accident, plus, my insurer has a limited lifetime warranty on repairs, so hopefully it would be covered under that.

Received good news yesterday and today. Yesterday, the adjuster came by, took a look, has approved the work, and is cutting me a check for the quote.

The good news today was that I had some minor surgery on my arm, and I was originally told that I would not be able to do anything strenuous for 2 weeks.

I still thought that I would ask about riding my Spyder; if it was too strenuous. I was informed that I should be able to ride normally without any issues after Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully, I can get in to get the Pitman Arm replaced before I head out to Georgia and beyond at the end of the September.

I just tried to order a set for the front and they had only 1 in stock, so I had to have a set back-ordered and they are not supposed to come in until late October!

The only other tire they have in stock in that size is the Continental ContiProContact Grand Touring All-Season.

I am about to have my brand loyalty tested, I really need to get tires before I head out to Georgia and beyond.
This size fits perfect as a replacement.

I have had issues in the past even with the 165's rubbing that I had to correct, I don't think I want to push 175's even though the aspect ratio is lower.
The 155/60R15 are so close in specs to the original and only 1/4 inch less in width which means nothing.
The diameter of the 165 is 22.8" and tread width is 6.5". The diameter of the 175 is 22.5" and tread width is 7.0". This is according to Tire Rack specs.
