• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Backrests, and mounting them

A member has a seat and backrest for sale....Corbin. I thought if the backrest from a Corbin seat would fit on a stock seat on my 2016RTs, I'd take it off his hands. So, does Corbin do something unique that would keep the backrest from mounting to a stock seat?

The Corbin will not fit. They are made with a square post that is designed for their seats which have a square hollow sleeve built into them for the post to slide into. The end is threaded and you tighten a screw through the bottom of their seats into the post to secure it.
You would have to do some fabricating. Ive never heard of Corbin selling brackets for stock seats but that would sure help their business im sure. Although the wait for one of their seats is currently 3-5 weeks so business must be just fine.
