• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I traded my 2012 RTL for a 2019 RTL. My 2012 had a Show Chrome backrest. I had no issues with it, maybe not as solid as the Can Am driver backrest I installed on my wife's 2018. It seems the Can Am rest pushes me ahead, resulting in less legroom. I did adjust the Can Am rest which is an improvement but still a bit cramped. I really think the Can Am rest is bulky and not very attractive, the Show Chrome is more visually appealing. Are there any other brands out there other than Can Am and Show Chrome?

:agree: I had a Utopia backrest on my 2011 RT seat. I then put a 2014 comfort seat on the bike and put the same backrest on it and it fit perfectly.

Does the Utopia backrest for the RT fold forward like it does for the Honda Goldwing aiding in passenger entry? I had a Utopia on my 2003 GW and loved it....

I have a show chrome back rest with the small pad that I used for a few weeks for sale, my wife didn't like it. Chris

The wife does not like the BRP back rest ,makes it hard to get off the bike .It is spring loaded and does not lay flat on its own .
