• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Back to the hospital for Dave

Good to hear. I don't think I've heard many people having screws/pins removed once in, except for external fixators.

All the bones in my foot were shattered, they had to pull them all together so they would grow together and they did but the screws were
long and some were just under the skin making it super hard to ware shoes.

Something that has been posted (more than once) on a 2-wheeled motorcycle site that I visit occasionally:

"Motorcycling is not a matter of life or death. :lecturef_smilie:

It's much more important than that."  :ohyea: :2thumbs:

.

I have been riding since I was 14 I am now since May 31st. 78 and still riding it's what I do...

Good news Dave. I had 2 surgeries on my left foot in the last year. Still have a plate and 6 screws in that foot. I need surgery on my right foot soon. Am waiting until July when it is too hot to ride here so the recoop time will not be in the good riding weather. Foot surgeries suck. It is amazing how much we take our feet for granted and how they can affect our lives when they have issues. Glad you are going in the right direction..... Jim

Good luck Dave, hope it works out good for you!!! I go to have my left knee done myself today at noon!! Got to get it all tuned up for retirement!!

You will be so happy when it is all healed up...... I have had both of mine replaced NO MORE PAIN !!!!!!

When this all started in late June last year, the doctor said to plan on it taking a year or more
to heal up so I could walk..... I thought YEA RIGHT, give me a month and I will be good...well
that sure as hell did not happen it is now a year, I guess he got the last laugh. They removed all
of the screws Wednesday so we will see what happens now I sure hope I can put my riding boots on
